ROOTED IN TEN YEARS OF VLC
New to Lahore.
10 years in the making.
Veritas Learning Circle began in Karachi in 2016 with a simple question: what could school become if we took childhood as seriously as we took education?
Over the decade since, that question has shaped our classrooms, our learning frameworks, our relationships with children and families, and the way VLC has grown.
Now, that journey continues in Lahore.
The same philosophy that has shaped VLC over ten years is taking root in Gulberg, while Lahore develops a character and community distinctly its own.
Strong beginnings make room for possibility.
The first years of education shape far more than what children know.
They shape how children approach a question, how confidently they communicate an idea, how they respond when something doesn't work, how independently they begin to think and, perhaps most importantly, how they come to see themselves as learners.
At VLC Lahore, these foundations begin in Preschool and continue into the first years of Elementary School.
Learning becomes progressively more structured as children grow, while curiosity, creativity and discovery remain part of how they encounter it.

THE VLC APPROACH
Learning begins with the way children experience the world.
For young children, a story can become language, counting, imagination and conversation. A garden can prompt observation, movement and scientific thinking. Art creates ways to communicate before every idea has words. Play asks children to negotiate, experiment, solve problems and try again.
Through SNAP®: Stories, Nature, Art and Play, our youngest learners build foundations across language, mathematical thinking, physical development, creativity, relationships, independence and their understanding of the world.
As children move into Elementary Years, learning develops greater academic structure and increasingly asks them to investigate, connect ideas, communicate their thinking and use what they know.
A place that invites children in.
Our campus has been designed around the many ways children learn.
There are spaces to gather and spaces to concentrate. Places to read, make, investigate, talk, move and create. Natural light, thoughtful materials and open-ended environments give children opportunities to take greater ownership of how they engage with the world around them.
And then there is the garden.
Some of our best learning happens outside.
At the heart of the Lahore campus is a generous outdoor garden, giving children the increasingly rare gift of space to move, notice, investigate and simply spend time in nature.
A seed beginning to grow. An insect discovered beneath a leaf. Water finding its way through soil. A game invented between friends. A question that didn't exist five minutes earlier.
The outdoors creates possibilities for movement, wellbeing, scientific observation, imagination and play that cannot always be planned in advance.
The garden isn't a break from learning. It's part of it.
THE ROAD AHEAD
An IB journey in the making.
As VLC Lahore grows, its academic journey is being developed towards the International Baccalaureate, extending into the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and, eventually, the Diploma Programme (DP).
The IB's emphasis on inquiry, conceptual understanding, reflection, international-mindedness and student agency has a natural relationship with many of the ideas that have shaped VLC from the beginning.
And while those programmes sit further ahead in a child's journey, many of the habits they require begin much earlier.
Asking thoughtful questions. Making connections. Communicating ideas. Reflecting. Working independently and with others. Becoming increasingly responsible for one's own learning.
The journey ahead begins with the foundations we build today.
AROUND THE CIRCLE
There are many ways to belong to a school.
Some begin in a classroom.
Others begin over coffee, on a yoga mat, wandering through a weekend market or watching children play in the garden.
At VLC Lahore, we're creating reasons for families and the wider community to come together beyond the school day.
