A thoughtful beginning. A journey designed to grow.
Explore the Learning JourneyAt VLC Lahore, children begin their education in an environment where strong foundations and childhood belong together.
They encounter stories, books, numbers, nature, materials, movement, art, conversation and questions as part of an increasingly purposeful learning journey.
Teachers get to know the child behind the work: what interests them, where they are confident, where they need support and when they are ready for greater challenge.
And as VLC Lahore grows, its academic journey is being developed towards the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
Strong beginnings. Curious minds. A world of possibility ahead.

FAQs
Common admissions questions.
What is the fee structure?
The fee structure is divided into two sections: the admission package and the tuition fee with annual charges. You will be guided in detail once you are invited to our campus for an in-person meeting.
Are admissions open?
Our admission cycle is rolling but typically begins in September of the year before the academic year starts. Families wishing to enroll for the current session may be invited to meet based on seat availability, with timelines followed on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is the procedure for admission?
At VLC, our admissions process is a thoughtful journey, one that allows us to understand each child’s unique spirit while helping families experience the values that define our community. Submitting an application is the first step, but it does not guarantee admission. The process typically includes information sessions, interviews, and/or observations with our team. These are opportunities for us to get to know your child, and for you to see how our approach to learning aligns with your hopes. Invitations for these stages are extended according to space and intake timelines.
Where are you located?
VLC has recently opened its doors in Gulberg in LHE.
What is the age group for Playgroup?
Children aged 1.4 years to 2.3 years by August of the joining year qualify for Playgroup. That said, VLC believes every child learns at their own pace.
At what age do you enroll kids?
The age of enrolment is a deeply personal choice for each family. Some families prefer an earlier start in Playgroup or Pre-Nursery, while others wait until Nursery or Prep. The aim is always to provide love, emotional and physical safety, and a nurturing environment where children can connect, grow, and thrive.
Can you tell me when you have your next parent–toddler session?
BabySnap is our premium mom-and-toddler program that focuses on pre-school milestones before children begin full-time school. It also gives parents a chance to experience a rich sensory, physical, and emotionally engaging journey with their child as they prepare for independence.
Do siblings get priority in admissions?
We wouldn’t call it a priority, but the process is definitely easier for families already part of the community.
Do you offer financial aid or scholarships?
As a standard policy, VLC does not offer discounts or waivers. However, as an inclusive school, we are always open to conversations to explore how learning can be an opportunity for families rather than a cost.
What is the language of instruction?
English is the primary medium of instruction, while we also respect and actively practice cultural and linguistic diversity.
What is the teacher–student ratio?
Early Years: 1:6 As children progress, ratios gradually increase to 1:7, 1:8, and ultimately 1:12 by Elementary.
Do you provide transportation?
At the moment, VLC does not offer a van service.
How can international/returning families apply?
For families moving back to Pakistan, the process is very similar: applications are submitted online. Our team ensures scheduling is hassle-free, and if you arrive after the recommended joining date, we can explore conditional offers so you don’t have to worry about losing a seat.
What curriculum do you follow?
VLC begins with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework from England and later incorporates mixed boards such as
- Oxford AQA
- Cambridge
- EdExcel
Oxford and Cambridge use a mostly linear structure emphasizing deep critical thinking and analytical, essay-heavy exams. However AQA Urdu and Islamiat are easier and preferred.
What truly sets us apart is how we teach — through our SNAP and STAMP approaches, grounded in mental health and a whole-child philosophy.
What are your school timings?
School days starts at 9am
Playgroup begins with a 2.5-hour school day, with timings gradually increasing at every grade level as children grow.
Do you offer after-school or enrichment programmes?
Yes, VLC offers a wide range of after-school activities such as gymnastics, taekwondo, roller skating, foreign languages, swimming, and more. These programs evolve on a rolling basis, based on the interests of our community.
How are Classes divided on your campuses?
- Playgroup
- Pre-Nursery
- Nursery
- Grade 1

What is the settling-in process?
At the center of VLC's educational approach is respect for the child. Our settling-in process is therefore gradual, gentle and responsive. Starting school can feel exciting and unfamiliar at the same time, and children differ in how quickly they feel safe within a new environment and routine.
The settling-in programme is generally planned across the first four weeks, with particular goals introduced gradually. A parent, family member or familiar caregiver may be asked to remain available during the initial period until the child is ready to stay independently. The facilitator will guide this decision according to the child's needs.
The schedule remains flexible. Children who need more time may continue with shorter durations, while settled children may move forward sooner. Families are requested not to compare one child's settling journey with another.
Choosing a school comes with a lot of questions.
Some are easy to answer on a website.
Others depend on your child.
