An education that grows with the child
Playgroup to Grade 1
VLC Lahore opens with Playgroup to Grade 1, adding one grade every academic year. Our curriculum begins with relationships, stories, nature, art and play, and grows with the child.
Our own approach, developed over ten years
The VLC curriculum has been developed, practised and refined over the last ten years. It brings together respected international educational practices while remaining responsive to our own children, communities and cultural context — informed by the Finnish education system, Reggio Emilia, EYFS and contemporary research into how children learn.
SNAP®: Stories, Nature, Art and Play
Developed by VLC, SNAP® is our proprietary integrated curriculum approach. It recognises that young children do not experience learning in separate subjects.
Stories
Through storytelling, books, role play, puppetry and conversation, children develop language, imagination, empathy and early literacy.
Nature
Gardens, natural materials, changing seasons, water, mud and outdoor exploration build physical confidence and scientific curiosity.
Art
Paint, clay, collage, construction, music and movement \u2014 the focus is on expression, experimentation and the creative process.
Play
Through imaginative, sensory, social and physical play, children learn to negotiate, solve problems and develop independence.

Our Pre-school and Early Years programme is inspired by the Finnish belief that childhood should not be rushed. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces act as a third teacher.
