VLC’s community extends well beyond the classroom a place where friendships are made and every family belongs.
Student Life
Learning is richer when children feel they belong.
At VLC, community is built in the everyday: in classrooms, gardens, corridors, shared meals, projects, celebrations, games and conversations. We create opportunities for children to work with different people, take responsibility, contribute ideas and discover the value of doing things together.
Parent Partnership
We do not see parents as visitors to a child’s education. We see them as partners in it.
A strong partnership begins with communication and grows through trust: sharing what we see, listening to what families notice at home, and working together when a child needs something different.
Our goal is a relationship in which parents feel informed, heard and genuinely connected to their child’s learning journey.
Summer Camps
Summer at VLC is a little less about worksheets and a little more about wondering what could happen.
Our camps create space for stories, nature, art, play, making, movement and experiences that children can carry with them long after the summer ends.
